Bunting in a Cup

There is something appealing to me about the image of a delicate, feathery bird tucked into a fragile china teacup. Get ready for a series!

Depicted here is a brilliant blue Indigo Bunting sitting in a lovely china teacup with a blue, floral print. The wallpaper background is my own design with a clematis motif. The surface is a multicoloured old sap bucket tipped upside-down.

Each framed, limited edition is numbered (minis excepted) and signed by hand from a series of 250 and is beautifully crisp, vibrant and clear. Inks are archival quality, with superior durability and light resistance. The gallery-style frame is made of basswood and is stained in your choice of colour: walnut, ebony or driftwood. The natural grain of the basswood comes through beautifully with these stains. On a wall, they have a lovely, yet unassuming presence that complements the subtlety of the original watercolour.

Small framed prints: The image itself is 7X7" with a 12X12" double, acid-free mat. The total size, including the frame is 13.5" square.

Large framed prints: The image itself is 8X8" with a 14X14" double, acid-free mat. The total size, including the frame, is 15.5" square.

Minis: The image itself is 3X3" with a 6X6" SINGLE acid-free mat. The total size, including the frame is 7.5X7.5". Please note that minis are not numbered editions.
